The Ministry of Education, in a statement issued on Tuesday, expresses its sorrow at the death of Kika Olympiou, a distinguished philologist, with a significant contribution to the educational and cultural life of Cyprus.
At her funeral, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Prodromos Prodromou will deliver a eulogy.
According to the Ministry of Education, Kika Olympiou was born in the village of Marathovounos in Famagusta district in 1939.
