The Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, Prodromos Prodromos, met today with the Advisory Committee on Policy Issues for Culture.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Education, the meeting was also attended, from the Ministry's side, by the Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Kyprianos Louis, Director of Cultural Services.
During the meeting, an update was given on the progress of the examination of the bill for the creation of a Deputy Ministry of Culture.
The members of the Committee expressed their support for the creation of the Deputy Ministry as a state body for the management of cultural affairs and the expectation to complete the examination of the bill as soon as possible.
