A contract was signed on Tuesday for the construction of a major flood protection project in the Limassol city centre, aimed at protecting the areas of the Medieval Castle and the commercial street of Independence.
The contract was signed on behalf of SALA by the President of the Limassol Mayor Nikos Nicolaides and on behalf of the Contractor by the Senior Executive Director of ATLAS PANTOU Mr. Marios Pontikis.
As stressed by the President of SALA Limassol Mayor Nikos Nicolaides, this project comes in continuation of the flood protection works for greater Limassol concerning the northernmost areas, the construction of which started last May.
