[CNA] The importance of the defence cooperation programme confirmed during the visit of the Chief of Defence Staff to Jordan

The importance of the bilateral defence cooperation programme between Cyprus and Jordan, which is part of the network of international partnerships that the National Guard (NF) has developed with the Armed Forces of friendly and allied countries, was reaffirmed during the official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan by the Chief of the AF, Lieutenant General Demokritos Zervakis from 3 to 5 January 2022, at the invitation of the Chief of the Armed Forces (AF) of Jordan, Major General Yousef Huneiti.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Defence, developments in the Middle East and the wider Eastern Mediterranean region were also discussed, as well as the various aspects of defence cooperation between the two countries' armed forces at bilateral, trilateral and multilateral levels.
