[CNA] The French aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle at Limassol port [VIDEO]

The French aircraft carrier FS Charles De Gaulle (R91) arrived at the port of Limassol this morning, as part of a scheduled visit to Cyprus. It will participate in joint training exercises with the National Guard. The French aircraft carrier was visited by Defence Minister Charalambos Petrides and the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Demokritos Zervakis.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Defence, in a move that once again highlights the excellent cooperation between the Naval Forces of the Republic of Cyprus and France, the General Support Vessel ALASIA and the Patrol Vessels AMMOCHOSTOS and GEORGIOU, sailed to join and escort the French aircraft carrier FS Charles De Gaulle, from its entry into the Territorial Waters of Cyprus until its arrival at the port of Limassol.
