The entirety of the wastewater is now flowing towards the Mias Milias treatment plant, following the removal of the last obstacles on Friday morning, the Nicosia Drainage Board said in a statement.
According to the statement, the pipeline had collapsed on December 30, following the discharge of a large amount of rainwater. The collapse occurred in parts of the pipeline, both within the buffer zone and on Markos Botsaris Street, near the industrial area of Kaimaklion.
