The significant educational value of Lefkios Zafeiriou's literary work, his literary personality as an active intellectual for many decades, his firm belief in values and ideals, that glorify and elevate man, is the legacy that he leaves us, said in his eulogy by the Minister of Public Works, Prodromos Prodromou at the funeral service of Lefkios Zafeiriou today, at the Holy Church of Apostolos Varnavas, in Dasoupolis.
A valuable legacy, he added, for education and our letters, at a time rocked by repeated crises, questioning of humanitarian values, new outbreaks of war and renewed international instability.
