[CNA] The CSE started March with significant losses due to Ukraine

The Cyprus Stock Exchange started March with significant daily losses, continuing the downward trend of the previous days, due to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis. The General Index of the CSE closed Tuesday with a loss of 2.37% at 66.24 points.

The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 39.73 points, down 2.43%. The daily trading volume amounted to €199,006.

With the exception of the Hotels index, which remained unchanged, the other individual stock market indices closed down.

The Main Market fell by 3.11%, the Alternative Market by 0.78% and the Investment Market by 0.96%.

The biggest investor interest was attracted by the shares of Bank of Cyprus with a volume of €121,030 (price €1.00 - down 4.76%), Cyprus Cement Company with €25.099 (price €0.50 - down 2.91
