[CNA] The CSE returned to losses on Wednesday

The stock market closed with a small loss on Wednesday, recording its third consecutive down session this week.

The General Index fell 0.12% to close at 66.85 points, while the FTSE/CySE 20 Index fell to 40.02 points, showing an identical decline. The value of transactions stood at €121,848.

In relation to the individual stock market indices, only the Alternative Market showed a gain of 0.23%. In contrast, the Investment Companies sector showed significant losses of 2.83% and the Main Market showed a loss of 0.36%, while Hotels showed no change.

Vasilikos Cement Plant securities attracted the most investor interest with €60,886 (no change - closing price €2.70). This was followed by Bank of Cyprus securities with €43,545 (no change - closing price €1
