The CSE returned to profit on Thursday, after a two consecutive bearish sessions.
Driven mainly by gains in banking stocks, the General Index rose 1.54% to close at 66.62 points, while the FTSE/CySE 20 Index rose 1.58% to close at 39.97 points. The value of the transactions amounted to €159,625. The Investment Companies sector recorded the biggest rise with 2.51%, followed by the Main Market with 2.20% and the Alternative Market with 0.23%.
