The stock market recorded small gains on Friday, completing three consecutive bullish sessions this week. However, on a weekly basis, the CSE recorded a decline of 0.99%.
The General Index rose 0.19% today, closing at 67.80 points, while the FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 40.76 points, recording a daily gain of 0.17%. The value of trading was limited to €48,383.
The individual stock market indices closed with a rise, with the exception of the Alternative Market, which recorded a marginal loss of 0.06%. The Investment Companies sector showed the biggest rise with 0.46%, followed by the Main Market with 0.40% and Hotels with 0.19%.
Bank of Cyprus securities attracted the most investor interest with €21,582 (unchanged - closing price €1.04). This was followed by Logicom Public L
