The family of Marios Tokas is preparing a museum that will showcase the life and work of the great music composer, alongside the exhibition of his artistic creations, which is currently being organized in Limassol, his hometown.
In a statement to CNA, Marios Tokas' son Kostas explains, among other things, the rationale behind the organization of the exhibition, which reveals a side of the composer unknown to the general public.
"The idea of this particular exhibition has been floating around in our minds for quite some time, because we realized early on that our father's artworks are small treasures, hiding within them pieces of his soul, his temperament and his spiritual quests." said Costas Tokas, who stresses that the exhibition presents contemporary hagiographies that without dogmatism follow the ways of Byzantine painting
