The National Children's K-17 team drew 1-1 with Romania in a friendly match that took place at the Sotiras Municipal Stadium.
According to the Cyprus Football Federation (CFF), Cyprus took the lead in the 7th minute through Panagiotis Andreou and the Romanians equalized through Ioan Vermesan in the 54th minute.
This was the first friendly match of the new K-17 Children's National Team (age 2006).
Cyprus and Romania will play a second friendly next Wednesday, also at 12:00 noon in Sotira.
