[CNA] The Chief of the General Staff paid an official visit to Armenia

The importance of the bilateral military cooperation programme between Cyprus and Armenia, as well as the trilateral programme with Greece, was reaffirmed during an official visit by the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Demokritos Zervakis, which concluded on Wednesday.

A press release said that these programs are part of the network of international partnerships that the National Guard has developed with the Armed Forces of friendly and allied countries.

During the visit, at the invitation of the Chief of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Major General Artak Davtyan, the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and Caucasus region, issues of common interest as well as ways of upgrading and expanding cooperation between the armed forces of the RoC and Armenia were discussed.
