The Council of Ministers on Thursday approved the granting of 50,000 euros in financial assistance "as a favour" to the Cyprus Red Cross, to cover part of the costs related to its activities, to cover the needs of those staying at the Reception/Hospitality Centres for Asylum Seekers.
In a written statement, Deputy Government Spokesperson, Nivi Parisinou, said thatthe Council of Ministers, which met on Thursday under the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, approved the accession of the Republic of Cyprus to the International Solar Alliance (ISA) as a member.
