The Committee of the Association of Biologists OELMEK invites its members, who were going to work on the subjects, to refrain from taking the first quarter exams in all classes of high school for the subject of Biology.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, it is stated that the Association, having received the support of OELMEK, and after the recent, overwhelming result in the sector's referendum, in which 90.5% of the members were in favour of abstaining from the subjecting in the fourth-year examinations, calls on its members to abstain from subjecting.
It also states that all the efforts and measures it has implemented in the last period (journalists' conference, articles in the media, TV and radio promotion of the issue, protest march outside the Ministry of Social Affairs, two-hour work stoppage), did not raise awareness of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
