Archbishop Chrysostomos II of Cyprus suffered a fracture of the humerus on Thursday.
In the medical statement issued by Archbishop Chrysostomos' neurologist and attending physician, Dr. Michalis Protopapas, it is stated that the Archbishop of Cyprus' general health is good, while it is noted that the fracture will be treated invasively on Thursday afternoon.
"The Archbishop suffered a fracture of the humerus today and was evacuated to the Aretaio Hospital. His Beatitude's general state of health is good and the fracture will be treated invasively this afternoon," the medical statement said.
According to Dr. Protopapa, a new medical statement will be issued on Friday morning.
