The important issue of tackling juvenile delinquency was discussed at length at an inter-ministerial meeting between the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Stephis Drakos, and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Minister Prodromos Prodromos, with the participation of the Commissioner for Child Protection Desposo Michaelidou and the Chief of Police Stelios Papatheodorou.
A statement from the Ministry of Justice said that "during the discussion, the two Ministers "stressed the fact that juvenile delinquency is a widespread social problem, which also occurs in schools".
Also, "through the fruitful exchange of views there were useful suggestions, so that an appropriate structure could be created with the participation of the services involved in order to act immediately".
