The demands and expectations of society from the Police are clearly increased and persistent, said the new Deputy Chief of Police and until recently Assistant Chief, Dimitris Demetriou, during the ceremony of taking office from his predecessor, Christos Mavris.
Demetriou was speaking during a ceremony held at the Journalists' House in Nicosia, in the presence of the Attorney General, the Minister of Justice and Public Order and the Chief of Staff of the National Guard.
