Bitter cold and snowfall occurred on Wednesday night in the mountainous communities of Paphos district. Snow fell in several communities for the third consecutive 24-hour period, including Panagia, Stato/Agios Fotios, Foti and Lhasa.
The chairman of the Lhasa community council, Elias Ioannou, told CNA that the bad weather conditions and very low temperatures have prevailed for three to four days, while it was snowing in the community all night yesterday.
