[CNA] Small rise in the number of businesses in 2020 despite the pandemic

The number of businesses in Cyprus continued to rise for the fourth consecutive year in 2020, with growth limited to 2% due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Specifically, according to the Business Register for 2020, released today by the Statistical Service, the number of businesses in the previous year amounted to 109,220, showing a 2% annual increase, which is the lowest since 2016.
