The stock market closed with small losses on Tuesday, in the second downward session of the week. The General Index fell to 67.75 points, showing a loss of 0.16%.
The FTSE/CySE 20 Index lost 0.20% to close at 40.61 points. Daily turnover was limited to €43,720.
Among the individual stock market indices, only the Main Market was up, with a gain of 0.16%. Losses were recorded by the Alternative Market with 0.41% and the Hotel sector with 0.25%. The Investment Companies index was unchanged.
The biggest investor interest was attracted by the securities of Vasilikos Cement Factory with €15,706 (down 1.46% - closing price €2.70). This was followed by the shares of Logicom Public Ltd with €10,713 (up 0.59% - closing price €1.71) and The Cyprus Cement Public Company with €5.486 (no change
