In the framework of the investigation of the case of conspiracy to commit a felony, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, hooliganism, causing grievous bodily harm and assault with actual harm concerning incidents in the centre of Paphos on the evening of 3 January 2022 between two groups of people, the Police proceeded to the arrest of a total of six persons to facilitate the interrogations.
According to a statement by the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, four persons aged 17 and 25 were initially arrested who are under eight-day detention and two others aged 20 and 22 after evaluation of the testimonial material available to the Police, who are under eight-day detention at the Paphos General Hospital, guarded after being injured in the incidents.
