Traffic in the Paphos market is numb, according to POVEK estimates, with POVEK Paphos President Andreas Evripidou stating that "unfortunately the pandemic has left its mark everywhere".
In a statement to CNA, Mr. Evripidou noted that Paphos' shops put on their festive clothes and considering that these holidays will be different again this year, due to the pandemic and its effects, the aim of shopkeepers is to keep the Christmas spirit alive, giving a breath of optimism, hope and a festive atmosphere throughout the city, in every neighbourhood, with priority given to the safety and protection of the citizens.
