[CNA] Seven deaths on Wednesday, 2,549 new COVID cases and 175 patients hospitalized

Seven people died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths from COVID-19 to 798, while 2.549 new cases of COVID-19 disease were detected by molecular tests (PCR) and antigen rapid tests (antigen rapid test), bringing the total number of cases to 298,235, the Ministry of Health announced Wednesday.

In a statement, the ministry said the positive rate was 2.61%.

One death was recorded the day before yesterday, February 14, four were recorded yesterday, February 15 and two today, February 16.

More specifically, the deaths concern a man, aged 87, who died on 14 February, a woman, aged 50, who died on 15 February, and a man, aged 59, who died on 15 February, a woman, aged 85, who died on
