The member banks of the Association of Cyprus Banks are fully implementing the sanctions imposed by the EU against Russia and the service of their customers continues uninterrupted, the Association said in a statement today.
"The member banks of the Association of Banks are fully implementing the sanctions imposed by the European Union and are aligned with the new framework, as it is constantly changing due to the extraordinary circumstances that the entire planet is experiencing," the Association said, adding that no member bank of the Association is included in the sanctions applied by the European Union, while customer service continues uninterrupted in order to safeguard economic activity.
In addition, the Association notes that it is following the developments in connection with the war in Ukraine with sadness, concern and reflection,
