In a statement, the Embassy of Greece in Russia denounces that there are risks to the safety of Russian citizens in Greece, primarily tourists.
Referring to "anti-Russian rhetoric" by Greek officials and media, the Embassy calls on Russian citizens in Greece to be "vigilant", to avoid unnecessary travel and to contact the relevant Greek authorities about possible threats.
"In the context of unprecedented anti-Russian rhetoric by Greek officials and a propaganda campaign launched in the local media against our country, there are risks to the safety of Russian citizens in Greece, primarily tourists.
