The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) proceeded to the exclusion of the Russian and Belarusian athletes from the Beijing Paralympic Games, changing yesterday's decision. The Winter Paralympic Games begin in Beijing tomorrow and will conclude on 13 March.
Specifically, yesterday the Commission had decided that athletes from both countries would be allowed to participate in the Games in neutral "colours", a decision that had been disputed in many countries.
