[CNA] Royal Caribbean invests in Cyprus, welcome Deputy Ministers of Tourism and Shipping

Assurances on the interest of the American cruise giant, Royal Caribbean, to invest in Cyprus as a tourist destination and expand its presence on the island, were given on Wednesday evening before the Deputy Ministers of Tourism and Shipping. Savvas Perdios and Vassilis Demetriades expressed satisfaction and readiness to strengthen cooperation.

Officials and media were hosted on board the world's largest cruise ship, the Wonder of the Seas, which sails from Limassol port, with Royal Caribbean's Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Ben Bouldin, announcing that for the summer of 2022 Limassol will be included in its Eastern Mediterranean cruise destinations.
