Snowfall occurred in areas of Troodos, resulting in slippery roads.
According to a police statement, "of the main roads, open only to vehicles moving on all four wheels or equipped with anti-slip chains are the roads Karvouna-Troodos, Platros-Troodos and Prodromos-Platros, Prodromos-Troodos, Kakopetria-Pinewood, Pedoulas-Pinewood and Pedoulas-Prodromos".
In the wider Troodos area there is also dense fog, resulting in limited visibility.
