Vassilis Palmas submitted his resignation as Deputy Minister to the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, today.
In a written statement, Mr Palmas said that his resignation was submitted for purely personal reasons and will take effect from 2 February 2022.
"I feel the need", he notes, "to publicly express my sincere thanks to the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, both for our excellent, sincere and close cooperation throughout my term of office and for the trust he has shown in me during the performance of my duties".
