The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Kiev is open and is in contact with Cypriot citizens who have remained on the territory of Ukraine. At the moment the only way out of the country is to leave by land, which is currently considered dangerous, but at a later stage it is expected that a departure of Cypriot and Greek citizens will be organized by Greece.
This was reported to CNA by a diplomatic source, noting also that a ministerial committee meeting today is expected to approve the launch of the national Hestia action plan for the organised reception, hosting and repatriation of civilians.
