The Trade Union Organizations OIO-SEK and SIDHEKEKEK-PEO in a statement on Friday express their satisfaction with the passing of the legislation for the reform of Local Government and declare their readiness to assist in the joint effort for the implementation of the reform, for the benefit of workers, Local Government, citizens and the country in general.
From now until May 2024, which is the transitional period until the implementation of the reform, much needs to be done to ensure a smooth transition to the new data, they continue adding that as Trade Unions for labour issues co-signed an agreement with the Minister of Interior and the President of the Union of Municipalities in March 2020, which ensured labour issues and facilitated the state in the examination and approval of the reform.
