The Album "The Hero Tasos Markos" has been published in December 2021 and is a memorial for the modern hero, "who with his fighting spirit, bravery and dedication has brightened our history", says the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth (MPEAN) in a statement.
"Tasos Markou is a symbol and an ideal for all of us and has rightly taken a place in the Pantheon of Heroes," it notes.
The Ministry of Defence recalls that on 21 June 2019, a ceremony was held in the Hall of the Presidential Palace, where the Directorate of Secondary General Education awarded the students who excelled in the "Tasos Markos Hero" competition.
