A group of about 50 citizens of Aglantzia of the "Municipality of Athalassa Now" initiative gathered on Thursday afternoon outside the Conference Centre, reacting to the decision of the plenary session of the Parliament, which began its work at 16.00, for the inclusion of the Municipality of Aglantzia in the Municipality of Nicosia.
The protesters supported the creation of the Municipality of Athalassa and not the incorporation of the Municipality of Aglantzia into the Municipality of Nicosia, handing over a relevant resolution, which was received by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Internal Affairs, AKEL MP Aristos Damianou.
