A proposal to lift the ban on entry to nightclubs, weddings, baptisms, stadiums and theatres for unvaccinated persons is expected to be put before the Council of Ministers for approval on Tuesday by Health Minister Michael Hadjipandela, who attended an early morning meeting with members of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC).

CNA understands that the approval of the proposal to lift the ban on entry to restaurants and leisure centres for people without a history of vaccination is considered certain, while further details will be decided at the Cabinet meeting at 10:30 today, namely whether entry will be allowed on presentation of a negative PCR laboratory test or a 24- or 48-hour rapid antigen detection test.

Test to stay and in the Public Service
