President Nicos Anastasiades will travel to Brussels on February 17 and 18 to participate in the Summit of Heads of State of the EU and the African Union, according to a statement issued by the Presidency.
The Summit will address, among other issues, the EU-Africa partnership and the implementation of joint commitments, focusing on financing for development, health and pandemic response, agriculture and rural development, education, research and innovation, migration, security, climate change and energy, the statement said.
During the proceedings of the Summit, the President of the Republic will address a round table discussion on "Peace, Security and Governance", During the second day of the Summit
