President Nicos Anastasiades congratulated Sergio Matarella on his re-election as President of Italy.
In a message on Twitter, President Anastasiades congratulated Mr Matarella, noting that he looks forward to working with him "to further strengthen our close cooperation as Mediterranean and EU partners at bilateral, European and international level".
