Yesterday, the Council of Ministers gave the possibility of vaccination to refugees from Ukraine who arrived in Cyprus.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Health said that in view of the war raging in Ukraine, which has resulted in the arrival of refugees in Cyprus in need of essential humanitarian assistance, the Council of Ministers at its meeting yesterday decided to grant an exemption to citizens from Ukraine, who are not permanent residents of Cyprus, to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and any other vaccine deemed necessary for public health purposes.
It also decided to issue vaccination/recovery certificates (EUDCC) to citizens (Cypriots, permanent and non-resident citizens of the Republic of Cyprus) who have been vaccinated/vaccinated in Ukraine irrespective of the equivalence BR\](CNA)
