A decree extending the list of basic products on which there is the possibility of imposing a maximum price, to include cereals, was issued on Friday by Energy Minister of Commerce and Industry Natasi Pilidou.
According to a publication in theOfficial Gazette, barley and corn have been added to the list included in the decree setting maximum wholesale and retail prices in special cases.
The Decree further states that it is issued because the prices of raw materials for animal feed and cereals for human consumption have been affected by the effects of the pandemic of the COVID-19 and the emergency situation created by Russia's invasion of Ukraine on 24/2/
