As an unexpected boost to the demand for the reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures in Athens, supporters of the claim in Britain describe the Times editorial that marks a shift in the opinion of the historic newspaper.
Recall that on Wednesday the Times editorial pointed out that "times and circumstances have changed" and that the sculptures in the British Museum "belong to Athens and must now be returned".
British commentators called it a "significant moment" in the evolution of the long-standing Greek demand, while the former deputy director of the Sunday Times, Sarah Baxter, called it a "game-changing" article.
