The budget of the Cyprus Ports Authority for 2022 is slightly in surplus. The Authority's budgeted revenue is expected to be €30,460,125 and budgeted expenditure €30,413,190.
According to a statement by the ALC, the Chairman of the Board Antonis Stylianou and Director General Anthimos Christodoulides presented the budget to the Committee, before the Finance Committee of the Parliament on Monday 14 February.
According to the Cyprus Ports Authority, "the Authority's Budget has been prepared under the adverse conditions of the coronavirus pandemic, but also in the light of the fact that the future revenues of the PPA are shrinking due to the imminent commercialisation of the port of Larnaca".
The decrease is compensated by the increased revenues expected by ALK in the context of its participation in projects co-financed by European funds,
