In a statement the Police Press and Communication Office says "regarding last night's incidents in the football match between the teams of Anorthosis - Omonia at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium, the investigators of the case have already proceeded to issue two arrest warrants against two persons, who are wanted for facilitating the interrogations".
It is stated that "according to the evidence under investigation, before the start of the match, fans of both teams lit flares and threw stones outside the stadium, while after the end of the match, fans of one of the two teams threw fireworks, stones and firecrackers against fans of the other team. The assessment of the evidence so far has identified a number of persons involved in the incidents in question,
