Police say they are ready to investigate any information or evidence they receive related to any rape and sexual exploitation ring, while so far the activist, who expressed his intention to give evidence to the Cypriot Police about a ring operating in Greece and Cyprus related to the rape case of a 24-year-old woman in Thessaloniki, has not sent anything to the Police.
The Police sent a written message this morning to both the activist and his lawyer and their response is awaited regarding the (activist's) intentions on the matter.
In statements to CNA and asked about this case, police spokesman Christos Andreou said that there was on Saturday, January 22, a communication between the two police forces of Greece and Cyprus
