In the last 24 hours, the Police made complaints against 9 citizens, after 1,680 checks carried out nationwide for the observance and implementation of the decrees of the Infectious Diseases Act.
As a spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA, 352 checks were carried out in Nicosia, during which 2 citizens were denounced, 170 checks were carried out in Limassol, without a complaint, 426 checks were carried out in Larnaca and 3 were denounced, 420 checks were carried out in Famagusta and 4 citizens were denounced, while 135 checks were carried out in the Morphou area, without a complaint.
