[CNA] Police make 16 new complaints for violation of anti-COVID-19 measures

Police have made 16 complaints in the last 24 hours while conducting 2,089 checks in all provinces for compliance with the orders of the Infectious Diseases Act to curb COVID-19.

A spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters' Communication Branch told CNA on Saturday that the complaints concern five establishments and 11 citizens.

In Nicosia after 329 checks two establishments and five citizens were reported, in Limassol after 218 checks one establishment and one citizen and in Larnaca after 430 checks one establishment.

In Paphos after 258 checks one establishment was reported after 258 checks, in Famagusta after 509 checks five citizens and in Morphou there were no complaints after 117 checks.

The Traffic Department carried out 128 checks from which no complaints were made.
