According to the latest police update on the state of the road network in mountainous areas, roads are open only for vehicles equipped with anti-slip chains or with four-wheel drive: Platron - Troodos, Karvouna - Troodos, Prodromos - Troodos, Papoutsas - Agios Theodoros, Pedoulas - Prodromos, Pedoulas - Pinewood - Kakopetria, Prodromos - Platron.
In the remaining mountainous areas the roads are open for all vehicles but slippery.
