A large amount of stolen property was found in an apartment in Paphos owned by a 44-year-old man who is allegedly linked to one of the two suspects who escaped from the Paphos police detention centre on Saturday morning, according to the spokesman and Head of the Paphos Police Department Michael Nicolaou.
Nicolaou said that yesterday the apartment of a 44-year-old resident of Paphos, who is wanted for burglary and theft, was searched and due to the fact that he was not found, the search was carried out in the presence of the community leader of the Technical Area in Paphos.
