The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Cyprus to the United Nations, Ambassador Andreas Hadjichrysanthou, expressed the hope that the Secretary-General will soon appoint an envoy for the resumption of the peace process in the Cyprus problem, during the General Assembly debate on the Secretary-General's report on the work of the UN.
In his intervention before the UN General Assembly on Friday, the Permanent Representative of Cyprus to the UN welcomed the presentation of the UN Secretary General's priorities for 2022 and thanked him for his personal involvement in the efforts to resolve the Cyprus problem.
