Residents of the "Ag. Nikolaos" complex in Chloraka, the vast majority of them Syrian refugee families, they said, held a peaceful protest today outside the offices of the Paphos Water Development Department.

With placards bearing the slogan "water is a basic commodity" and "water supply in Saint Nicholas, here and now", the protesters appealed for the restoration of water supply to the "Saint Nicholas" complex in Chloraka, noting that the water supply to the building complex, where Syrian refugees are staying, has long been cut off due to financial disputes between the owner of the complex and Chloraka's CS, which are before a competent court.
